Prayers of THANKSGIVING

Prayers for HEALING

Prayers for THE CHURCH

Prayers for LEADERS and THOSE IN AUTHORITY
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;">... in our nation ... in the world</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2 Chronicles 7:14</span>  if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then <span style="font-size: 18pt;">I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin <strong>and heal their land</strong></span>.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">1 Timothy 2:1-3</span>  <span class="text 1Tim-2-1">Therefore I exhort first of all that <strong>supplications</strong>, <strong>prayers</strong>, <strong>intercessions</strong>, <i>and</i> giving of thanks be made <span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>for</strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">all men</span>, </span></span><span id="en-NKJV-29719" class="text 1Tim-2-2"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><sup class="versenum">2</sup> for <span style="text-decoration: underline;">kings</span> and <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">all who are in authority</span></strong></span>, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. </span><span id="en-NKJV-29720" class="text 1Tim-2-3"><sup class="versenum">3 </sup>For this <i>is</i> good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, </span></li> <li></li> </ul> <p>We need to pray for those who lead us BECAUSE the decisions they take and the choices they make will affect us ... and impact the quality of our lives.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em>Is there anyone who'd like to pray for  our leaders ... and those in authority, locally and/or internationally?</em>   </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Things to PRAY FOR ...</strong>   </span></p> <ul> <li><strong>GUIDANCE</strong> ... from God and wise counsellors</li> <li><strong>WISDOM</strong> ... to know how to apply Godly principles ... and how to act on good advice</li> <li><strong>STRENGTH</strong> ... to be able to do what needs to be done</li> <li><strong>COURAGE</strong>  ... to do what is right, even in the face of opposition</li> </ul> <p> </p>
Prayers for CHILDREN and YOUTH
<p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;">PRAYERS FOR CHILDREN and YOUTH ... and THEIR PARENTS  </span></strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">    </span></p> <ul> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Psalm 127:3</span>    <span id="en-NKJV-16125" class="text Ps-127-3">Behold, <strong>children <i>are</i> a heritage from the </strong><span class="small-caps divine-name"><strong>Lord</strong>;</span> t</span><span class="text Ps-127-3">he fruit of the womb <i>is</i> a reward. </span></li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Malachi 4:5-6</span>    <span id="en-NKJV-23144" class="text Mal-4-5">Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet b</span><span class="text Mal-4-5">efore the coming of the great and dreadful day of the <span class="small-caps divine-name">Lord</span>.  </span><span id="en-NKJV-23145" class="text Mal-4-6"><sup class="versenum">6 </sup>And he will <strong>turn</strong> t</span><span class="text Mal-4-6">he <strong>hearts of the fathers to the children</strong>, a</span><span class="text Mal-4-6">nd the <strong>hearts of the children to their fathers</strong>, l</span><span class="text Mal-4-6">est I come and strike the earth with a curse.”  </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 20px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Deuteronomy 4:9</span>   “Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live.  <span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Teach</strong> them to <strong>your children</strong> <strong>and</strong> to <strong>their children</strong> after them.</span>”   </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 24px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;"><em>Is there anyone who'd like to pray for our young people - children, teens and young adults?</em>    </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>THINGS TO PRAY ABOUT ...</strong></span><span style="font-size: 14pt;">   </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">all children to be seen as gifts and blessings from God</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">children to be loved and cared folive for Jesus</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">children to become more aware of God and the remarkable things He has done</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">children to turn to Jesus, when the time is right, and to live for Him </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Parents to love their children </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Parents to be able to provide, holistically, for their children </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Parents to teach their children properly </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Parents to instill good, right values and attitudes in their children</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Parents to teach their children how to live according to a biblical worldview</span><span style="font-size: 18pt;"> (e.g. to love their neighbours as they love themselves)  </span></p>
CLOSING SONG and CLOSING PRAYER
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">James 1:22-25</span>  <span id="en-NKJV-30289" class="text Jas-1-22">But <span style="font-size: 18pt;">be doers of the word, and not hearers only</span>, deceiving yourselves. </span><span id="en-NKJV-30290" class="text Jas-1-23"><sup class="versenum">23 </sup>For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; </span><span id="en-NKJV-30291" class="text Jas-1-24"><sup class="versenum">24 </sup>for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. </span><span id="en-NKJV-30292" class="text Jas-1-25"><sup class="versenum">25 </sup>But <span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues </strong><i><strong>in it</strong>,</i> and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one <strong>will be blessed in what he does</strong></span>.</span></p> <p> </p> <p></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>CLOSING PRAYER</strong></span></p> <p> </p>
